Seatower's IPR comprises numerous international patents and patents pending covering soil/structure interaction design, structural design, marine/hydrodynamic design, construction methods, transportation & installation methods, and the totality of these elements in the concept.

The offshore wind field has not yet been profoundly innovative. We have seen the same pattern which was typical in the early offshore oil industry in the 70s and early 80s in the North Sea: The industry just tried to apply the onshore technologies offshore, and the results were not satisfactory. Seatower's team took this lesson and developed the total concept based on patented technology, focusing on scalability, efficiency and eco-friendliness.
